KoreanSheets
Korean Alphabet Consonants Vowels Syllables Practice

Why KoreanSheets exists

KoreanSheets has one purpose: to help people who do not speak Korean learn to read and write the Korean alphabet, Hangul.

Hangul is a small set of letters with clear rules. Once a learner can read the letters and knows how they stack into syllable blocks, every Korean word becomes readable out loud. This site is built around that first step.

Who it is for

KoreanSheets is for learners of all ages, from children starting out with a parent to adults teaching themselves. Teachers and tutors can also use the pages and printable worksheets in lessons.

The site is written in English for people who are meeting Korean letters for the first time.

What you will find here

  • Letter pages: one page for each consonant, vowel and basic syllable, showing its shape, its sound and how to write it.
  • Sound: audio you can play for the letters and syllables.
  • Tracing: a web tool where you trace each letter stroke by stroke in your browser.
  • Free worksheets: a printable worksheet for each letter page, free to print and share at home and in class.
